Wellness Workshops & Groups for Mindful Living and Sustainable Change
Explore mindfulness experiences, groups, and workshops offered online and in person (Richmond, VA).
How Can These Groups and Wellness Workshops Support You?
Personal growth can sometimes feel isolating, especially if your loved ones don’t fully understand your journey or why you’re making life changes. There can even be a unique kind of grief that comes up when you start breaking out of patterns that no longer serve you, while those around you may not even recognize they’re still caught in them.
I developed these groups to offer a shared space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. A place where you can show up exactly as you are, and be met with compassion and understanding, from a community of likeminded people.
Each group offers a space to slow down, receive support, and explore a guided path to enhance mindful living.
I hope to see you soon!
In-Person Mindfulness Experiences in Richmond, VA
Connect with yourself and others through mindfulness activities, meditation, and nature experiences. All experience levels are welcome and supported.
Grounded Conversations
When I ask you how you’re doing, I want the long version.
This time is here for you to slow down, be yourself, and talk about how to stay more present in your life as you live it.
I’ll be your mindfulness guide as we explore the layers, ironies, stressors, and joys of life… and everything in between.
Grounded in Nature
In this guided experience, we’ll take a short mindful walk in the park, followed by a gentle breathing practice to reduce stress and enjoy the nature around us.
You’ll then be guided in a mindfulness meditation to deepen presence, self-connection, and inner peace. We’ll close with space for optional sharing and reflection.
Community is an invaluable resource that grounds us as we grow. Join the Meetup group, Grounded & Growing, to stay connected and be the first to know about new offerings & experiences.

Meditation for Beginners
Don’t believe meditation works for you or think you can’t meditate? Want to get started with the practice, or have you been meditating and still feel a little lost?
We’ll talk about what meditation actually is, how to practice, and I’ll address the most common misconceptions and questions. I’ll also guide you in a few quick practices so you can walk away feeling more comfortable integrating meditation into your life.
Follow the Frequency
This is for anyone ready to take your meditation practice beyond where you usually go on your own. You’ll experience gentle guidance and ambient music I composed with binaural beats to relax and connect with yourself.
We’ll close with 5 minutes of silence for self-reflection and optional journaling, and you’ll have the opportunity to share if you feel inclined.
*Please note: this session is not for beginners.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if group coaching is right for me?
Group coaching gives you the opportunity to connect and grow alongside others. It’s a great fit for those who enjoy learning and connecting in a collaborative environment, and engaging with varied perspectives, insights and experiences. It’s also a more affordable option compared to individual coaching but still offers you personalized guidance.
How do I choose which group is best for me?
If you live in or near Richmond, VA, explore the in-person offerings to see which one(s) would be most supportive to wherever you are in your journey in this moment.
If you’re looking for a group that will provide information, guidance, and strategies to overcome obstacles getting in your way of mindful living, any of the workshops I offer will be a good fit your needs.
Meditation groups may feel best for you if enjoy meditating with a group, or want to start or deepen your meditation practice. These sessions are geared towards using meditation as a tool to cultivate mindfulness, self-regulation, self-connection, and focus.
If you’re feeling drawn to a guided practice that focuses on enhancing emotional regulation by getting out of your head and into your body, try a breathwork group.
You can also attend any or all of them and see what feels best.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for an online group session?
I encourage all participants to ensure you’ll have a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be interrupted for the duration of the group. Other than that, all you need is an open mind, a willingness to participate, and a commitment to being respectful of others in the group. For some sessions, you may want to bring a notebook or journal to write down any insights or things you want to remember, but this is not required.
Why are some session durations listed as "up to" a fixed length?
Session durations can vary depending on the depth of discussion, level of participation, and the unique needs of the group.
I recommend setting aside the full time, but it’s possible there may be times when we’ll finish earlier if we reach a natural stopping point and everyone feels they’ve gotten everything they needed from the session. This flexibility allows me to ensure each session is meaningful and tailored to the group’s experience in the moment.
Can I join the meditation or breathwork groups if I've never practiced before?
Of course! I will check in with the group in the beginning of each session to get a sense of everyone’s experience level, and I’ll provide guidance so everyone is feeling comfortable before we start our practice together. If you have any questions before booking, you can always set up a free call to discuss if these groups feel right for you.
Do I need to turn my camera or audio on during online groups?
I encourage everyone to participate to the extent that feels comfortable to them. If for any reason you don’t want to turn on your audio or video, but you still want to listen or engage in the guided practices, that’s totally ok!
What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Full refunds are available if you inform me you won’t be able to make it to the group at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows, as well as any cancellation requests made less than 24 hours before the group is scheduled to begin are non-refundable.
